JUST IN!!! New IGP, Adamu Withdraws Policemen Attached To VIPs Ahead of Elections

The Acting Inspector General of Police(IGP), Mohammed Adamu has revealed that police personnel on non essential duties and those attached to some certain class of people will be withdrawn, Igbere tv reports. The IGP noted that the reason for the withdrawal of personnel in the Special Protection Unit, SPU and the Counter Terrorism Unit, CTU, from where they were deployed was to ensure full mobilisation and deployment of personnel for election duties, Igberetvnews learnt.
